2016 is finally coming to a close, and what a year it was! We hope you accomplished all your business goals and are forging into 2017 with a full head of steam. To help you with this, we recently posted our 2017 marketing predictions, which is something we also did for 2015 and 2016. As usual with predictions, our results were a mixed bag, but we continue to find that looking ahead better prepares us for whatever the future holds.
During 2016, we saw Google step closer to a mobile-only world, and terms like natural language, machine learning and virtuality reality get mentioned in marketing contexts. The marketing world is very, very different than it was even just a few years ago, and despite how impossible it seems, the rate at which things are evolving is only picking up speed.
It’s a lot to take in, but don’t worry – even acknowledging the rapid pace of the digital world is a huge step in handling whatever twists and turns lay ahead. You’ve also read the 2017 marketing prediction post we mentioned before, right? That’ll help, too. But in case you missed it, or just want a view from another angle, we’ve turned our 5 2017 marketing predictions into a gorgeous infographic.
First and foremost, do you agree with our predictions and think they’ll come to fruition, or are there a few things you think we’re dead wrong about? We’d love to hear your thoughts about our prognostications, and are always interested in what other marketers and business owners have to say about the future.
